Havana Kitchen
The Scope
This Culinary project was inspired by my Cuban heritage. Growing up in a bilingual speaking household, I wanted to share and educate those who have not been exposed to Cuban food & culture, specifically here in Philadelphia. The menu incorporates childhood dishes, pastries, and soft beverages that has been a staple in many Cuban households to this day.Brand Goals
Havana Kitchen is a Cuban food truck based in Miami, Florida. We focus on serving authentic Cuban food made from passed down recipes through generations. Our purpose is to nourish those who crave authentic Cuban flavors while celebrating the vibrant spirit of Cuban culture. We bring the fiesta to you with Salsa music and dance every Friday evening.Challenges:
Researching current Miami food prices on similar food items

I knew coming into this project that I wanted to add a playful and vibrant tone to each deliverable. I used colors ranging from a cyan blue shade along with orange, green, red, & hex green color. The type name of the logo is called Podium Soft Regular. I also interchangeably used this type for menu, together with Mostra Nuova Bold and Shobhika Regular.

Furthermore, the logo processes was a variations of many different factors. When thinking of Cuban culture, I wanted to embody tangible items that natives use daily or things associated with the island. I illustrated conga drums, foods, cigars, palm trees, and dominoes. This consisted of different variations as well as fonts.
